As a senior level User Experience Designer be prepared to make an impact on projects that are directly tied to company's strategic vision. You will work with Product Managers and Engineers to refine the vision for Compuware's entire product portfolio and contribute to the delivery of simple, elegant solutions that empower the world's largest companies to fully leverage their most powerful computing platform. Your daily activities will be diverse but will include developing wireframes, meeting with customers to understand their product interactions and working to create a process to improve user interactions. Be prepared to leave your mark and perform the following duties:

 

  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, detailed UI and visual design specifications for web, mobile web and app interfaces
  • Understand target users deeply: develop or work from user profiles and conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or use stories
  • Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards
  • Partner with product management and development teams to support quarterly product launches
  • Meet with customers to identify usability challenges of our products
  • Contribute to creating constructive solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a user experience engineer or similar role
  • A stellar portfolio of work demonstrating mastery in creating effective user-centered design solutions with measurable results
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the hard work required to solve creative challenges preferred
  • Superior communication skills; ability to listen, present, and sell through ideas
