As an entry-level software developer, you have a passion to create software that will impact people around the world. We are low-level programmers who love the nitty-gritty aspects of technology and getting our hands dirty. Our entry-level developers work alongside our senior technologist leaving their fingerprints on our next big release.

 

We are looking to bring in new entry-level developers starting Summer 2018 to take on the following responsibilities: 

 

  • Design, develop, code, test, debug and document for large-scale or high volume transactions 
  • Prepare program specifications and diagrams and develop logic flowcharts
  • Develop programs in languages, Tools and Databases such as Assembler, COBOL, PL/1, CICS, and DB2
  • Understand business, technical and program requirements
  • Assist in the creation and general system design and technical specifications for new/replacement systems
  • Apply coding and analytical skills in all phases of the system life cycle
  • Supply time estimates related to programming efforts
  • Develop application program logic from customer-oriented specifications
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
  • Continual curiosity and hunger to learn
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (Java, C, C++, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software design and implementation
  • Capable to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability
  • Proven success with multi-tasking
  • Ability to explain complex technical terms and systems to others
  • Capable of clearly conveying thoughts and ideas via written and verbal communication channels
